Blue Gillespie will be performing again at Winnington Recreation Club in Norwich on 23rd October 2010. Ticket information is not yet available.

The reviews of Blue Gillespie's self released album Synesthesia continue to roll in and two new reviews have been added to the Blue Gillespie press page.

Blue Gillespie are raising funds for their Amsterdam gig by auctioning some further items on ebay.

The music line up has now been announced for Sex, Wales & Anarchy 3. Blue Gillespie will be performing alongside acts such as The Death of Her Money, Pun ra, Maddie Jones and Bad Moon Rising.

The spoken word performers at the event have also been announced. Patrick Jones, Mab Jones and the Jam Bones Poets will all be appearing.

It's difficult to link to individual pages of the website but do check out the official site for details of the competitions connected with the event and for some interesting background from Gareth David-Lloyd as to why he started Sex, Wales and Anarchy.

The spoken word competition ends on 1st August 2010 while the deadline for submissions for the film festival is 1st August with a late deadline of 23rd August 2010.

In website news the Blue Gillespie main page has been re-designed slightly and more videos have been added to the Blue Gillespie video index - if you've never seen the band live it's a great place to start and showcases how the band's style has evolved over the years.

Blue Gillespie will be playing Cardiff Mardi Gras on 4th September at 6:30 p.m. in between the day and night events at Sex, Wales and Anarchy 3.

Sex, Wales and Anarchy 3 are looking for street teams to help advertise the show by handing out flyers and posters. If you're interested in helping out e-mail Justine on justine@sexwalesandanarchy.co.uk

And don't forget Blue Gillespie's upcoming gig this Saturday in Ash..

In web site news I'll be looking to revamp the site a bit over the coming months and adding more content including videos.

Links to tickets for all of Gareth's upcoming appearances and Blue Gillespie's gigs have been added to the side bar on the first page to make it easier for everyone to buy tickets.

Also as the site has gotten bigger its become a little more unwieldy to update so please follow the site on twitter and facebook (new badges on the left of the page) which will be kept up to date with the latest news as soon as it happens before it is updated here.

New Blue Gillespie Gigs and SWA Competitions

Blue Gillespie will be playing Buffalo Bar on 6th August. Tickets don't yet appear to be on sale.

The band will also be playing their first overseas gig at The Cave in Amsterdam on Friday 10th September. The website seems to suggest that entry is 3 to 5 Euros.

Photos from Blue Gillespie's Ruby Lounge gig in Manchester have been added to the gallery. Thanks to Abi for being kind enough to let us use her photos.

In other news Sex, Wales and Anarchy 3 is now accepting submissions for the film festival. Details on the official site. Art submissions are also being accepted and don't forget the spoken word competition where the winning story will be read by Gareth David-Lloyd at the event. It costs £5 to enter the competition.

Finally Titan Publishing will be launching a Torchwood comic in the US.

Acclaimed artist Tommy Lee Edwards, currently working with outspoken TV personality Jonathan Ross on the hit comic series ‘Turf’, has teamed up with John Barrowman (Torchwood's Captain Jack) and his sister and frequent coworker Carole E. Barrowman, to produce 'Captain Jack and the Selkie' which will be featured in Issue 1.

The second story is part one of a special five-part story written by Torchwood TV script editor Gary Russell. Entitled 'Broken', the story sees Captain Jack, Gwen and Ianto get trapped in a cosmic hotel, while an old villain from the TV series returns.

Artwork for 'Broken' is provided by Adrian Salmon, whose work includes The Cybermen for Doctor Who Magazine and Judge Karyn for the Judge Dredd Megazine.Two collectible covers will be available for each issue - an art cover and a picture cover. British comic book artist Ian Churchill, whose work includes Superman for DC Comics and Avengers, Deadpool, and X-Men for Marvel, has drawn the art cover for issue #1. An alternate art cover, also drawn by Churchill, will be available exclusively at this year's San Diego Comic Con.

The comic will be on sale August 10th.

Stockwell Gig Photos and New Appearances

Photos of Blue Gillespie's gig in Stockwell have been added to the gallery with more to be added. Photos from the gig at The Plough Inn will be added shortly.

Gareth has been announced to appear at the Chicago TARDIS convention in Lombard,Ilionois over the weekend of 26th - 28th November 2010. Kai Owen will also be appearing at the event. Tickets start from $85 for weekend entry.

Tickets are now on sale for Blue Gillespie's gig at Sneaky Pete's in Edinburgh. Tickets cost £7. Doors open at 7:00 and the event finishes at 10:00 p.m.

The venue for Blue Gillespie's Glasgow gig has now been confirmed as The Vale Bar and tickets are now on sale and cost £8.50 each.

Finally Blue Gillespie's debut album Synesthesia is now available for purchase in cd format from the band's official merchandise site. CDs cost £13 unsigned and £23 signed.

Sex, Wales and Anarchy 3 now has its own website. The event is running a short story competition. The winning story will be read out by Gareth at the event. The contest costs £5 to enter.

Blue Gillespie will be supporting Spiridion at the launch of their new album A Moment of Clarity on 9th July 2010 at Cardiff Barfly. Tickets cost £5.

Gareth has come 40th in After Elton's Hot 100 poll beating the likes of George Clooney, Brad Pitt and David Beckham!

SWA Tickets now on Sale and new Blue Gillepsie Gigs

Blue Gillespie now have a brand new website and you can check it out here. Please note that it is still in beta testing.

Tickets for Sex Wales and Anarchy 3 to be held at The Coal Exchange in Cardiff on 4 September 2010 are now on sale and can be purchased here. Tickets cost £15 for a day ticket and £10 each for either a day or evening ticket.

Blue Gillespie have also announced a new gig at The Lion Brewery in Ash, Surrey on Saturday 17th July 2010. Tickets cost £8 in advance and can be purchased here. Other gigs have been announced in Cardiff in July and August (venues to be confirmed).

Gareth will be appearing at Fedcon tomorrow having flown from Melbourne to Athens and is now making his way to Bonn by ferry and train. Give him a very warm welcome when he arrives! The schedule is now available on-line for those attending.

Finally the Torchwood galleries have been updated with additional high res images included in our Cyberwoman, Meat and Children of Earth Day Three and Day Four galleries.

Wales Comic Con and Wrexham Gig

Sadly Gareth has had to cancel his appearance at Wales Comic Con (along with Blue Gillespie's appearance at the after show party) as he is stuck in Australia and cannot get a flight back in time due to the travel chaos caused by the Icelandic volcano.

Blue Gillespie will be performing at The Ruby Lounge in Manchester on Friday June 18th. Tickets cost £8.50 in advance and can be purchased by contacting manchestergillespians@gmail.com.

Blue Gillespie will also be supporting Spiridion at their album launch on Friday July 9th at Barfly in Cardiff. Tickets cost £5.

The venue for SWA 3 has now been confirmed as The Coal Exchange in Cardiff. Age limit is 14+. There are other unconfirmed but planned dates including some in Edinburgh and Glasgow which will be listed once confirmed.

Gareth has been nominated for a Constellation Award for best male performance in a 2009 Science Fiction episode. The Constellation Awards are Canada's annual science fiction awards. Gareth is nominated for Children of Earth: Day 4. Other nominees include David Tennant for The Waters of Mars, Jensen Ackles for the Supernatural episode The End and Misha Collins for the Supernatural episode The Rapture.

Finally the new issue of Torchwood magazine (issue 21) is now on sale featuring a detailed interview with Gareth and the first part of Shrouded - the new comic strip which Gareth has written exclusively for the magazine. The magazine will be on sale in the US on May 11th.

Sherlock Holmes UK Edition and Torchwood Magazine

The Asylum's version of Sherlock Holmes which stars Gareth David-Lloyd as Dr Watson is due for release on 26 April 2010 and can now be ordered on Amazon for £4.99.

The new issue of Torchwood magazine is also now available for purchase. The magazine features an exclusive comic strip written by Gareth and additionally features an interview with him.

Radio 4 Appearance & Updates

Don't forget to listen in to BBC Radio 4 tomorrow when Gareth will be reading Getting Up by Sian Preece at 3:30 p.m. The story should be available on listen again on BBC Iplayer soon after.

The Dempseys Blue Gillespie gig in Cardiff on 2 April 2010 is now also the Casimir Effect wrap party. You can buy tickets in advance (£7) here.

Blue Gillespie have launched a new line of merchandise which is available to purchase on their site. The range includes badges, shotglasses, t-shirts, hoodies and the poster to the right which comes signed or unsigned.

Gareth came 5th in the category of actor of the year in the PinkPaper.com awards. Torchwood also came 3rd for best tv show.

Various Sherlock Holmes reviews have been added to the Sherlock Holmes page.

Sherlock Holmes has been picked up for UK release by Revolver Entertainment who have released promo pictures for the dvd which have been added to the Sherlock Holmes Promo Gallery.
